Project details

This property in West Oxford, was bought by a developer and needed a complete makeover..

The design of the ground floor involved significant internal re-configuration to make space for a new utilities room, wet room, WC, store and boot room, as well as ensuring circulation through the spaces worked well. A large 70m2 rear extension and wrap around side extension has been added with a new modern kitchen with island, and a large dining and living space that opens out onto the large rear garden. The extension has been finished in larch cladding, with a GRP roof and a number of linear roolfights to bring light into the new space.

A master bedroom with en-suite has been created. 6 new rooflights have been added into the existing roof, and a new modern full height dormer, framed in timber and cement board cladding. This provides space for a full height shower, a window seat, and a new juliet balcony looking onto the rear garden.
